He looks like one of the black guys that would have been denied entry by Trumps travel ban. I don't believe him.

well, cruz was the top trending story yesterday on social media. what was the other Texas Senator doing to alleviate the winter storm? you and i both know that this had nothing to do with people being actually concerned that Ted Cruz could have helped with the storm in Texas. This was just another witch hunt to use social media to humiliate a guy because its possible. I personally can't stand Ted Cruz. But this kind of shit is so petty. I can't believe that grown (heterosexual) men get involved in it.Burn1dwn wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 1:10 amIs it possible for both to be worthy of ridicule?Animal wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 5:40 pm It is a completely Karen run world we live in when Ted Cruz taking a couple of days vacation is more trending news than a governor that murdered thousands of people and covered it up. and these stupid reporters haven't even dug into the thousands that died in other democratic run states because of Cuomo's stupid policy and coverup. They followed his lead thinking it was working and ended up killing the same proportionate number of elderly in their states.
but, omg, ted cruz didn't solve the energy crisis in Texas by staying home.

Clearly.
What could be more racist than to diminish ones opinions based on them not matching up with their race?

I actually don't think I would. But, if I ever do, then call me out. Because that characteristic in people is driving me fucking crazy in this social media driven world. Focusing on things like Pelosi going to a hair salon or Trump's hair or Cruz taking a vacation or any of that kind of petty shit. They should give that kind of stuff a "Gladys Kravitz" name because its like the nosy neighbor peeking out the curtains worried about every little insignificant detail. I mean its fine for the stand up comedians to use for material, but when it becomes something you see on the news then its stupid.

Perhaps you are right....it is petty.....however the problem with Cruz is his hypocrisy. He is the first one on twitter to mock California's power outages, the Austin mayor for going to Cabo during Covid while telling people to hunker down at home, to reject relief money after Hurricane Sandy but now has his hand out and then he has the gall to go on Fox News and tell them that the calls for him to resign are part of a liberal cancel culture.........then Brianna Keller plays clip after clip of Cruz on TV demanding different politicians to resign. He is an asshole and people love to put assholes in their place.Animal wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 2:59 pmI actually don't think I would. But, if I ever do, then call me out. Yeah, but in the meantime we are all the dummies for falling for it. He doesn't have a monopoly on that shit, all of the "successful" politicians right now are playing that exact same game. Everyone just sits around looking for those "gotcha" moments. And if they can't find one they create one out of what would normally be nothing. And the masses just drool in anticipation so they can spam their facebook and instagram pages with memes and told you so posts. one out of every 100 might have a valid point, but they just get washed away with the flood of petty stupidity that flows 24/7.Stapes wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 4:13 pmPerhaps you are right....it is petty.....however the problem with Cruz is his hypocrisy. I have heard more in the last 2 days about Ted Cruz going to Cancun than I have about the actual causes of the power shortage in Texas that continues to cost ungoldly amounts of money. Now I am hearing that some schools might not can open for weeks or months because of so much damage from frozen shit that went wrong in the past week. People were out of work because of the storms and now they might be out of work because their business can't reopen from damage. Some places still dont' have water. And every single problem traces back to why they couldn't meet power demands the instant the storm started. While we wait for reporters to dive into those reasons we have to listen to them interview Ted Cruz and try to figure out what his travel plans were, when he made them, how long he was going to stay, when he decided to come back, etc.

i don't know anyone that is doing that. or haven't heard anyone. i think she went to houston. there's plenty of democrats in houston to help. plenty in all of the big cities for that matter.
i think about 1/3 of the US House districts are democratic.
