This is part of what's called the 'silo art trail'. It's a gallery of painted grain silo's that covers about 200km in the rural part of our state.
There's always decent coffee nearby, so it makes for an interesting stop.

Kakadu national Park. Its up the top end of the country and i used to work up there FIFO for a period of time. Its changed now, but used to be one of the (very) few areas that had no speed limit.
You had to sign an agreement with the rental car company saying you wouldn't exceed 130km/hr.

That's awesome.
I think it's kind of sad. Some couple (probably husband/wife) say WWII or after. 2 people out of billions and that one second of their life is right there.

That one was limiter bashing at 200. Had a Toyota that made it to 220. The other ones were just plain scary above 170 so I didn't take it any further

Fastest I had her was 140 something on The New York State Thruway. I was going on vacation and decided I didn't want to be arrested. The car handled wonderfully, I was more scared of being incarcerated than dying in a fiery crash.

The photographic evidence of their life is awesome.
The old woman fed a stray colony. TT took them over. This women's daughter spit the cost of having them spayed/neutered with TT
