Wait. Amway is still a thing?
smart ass bitch would go ape shit with those stamps you used to get when you bought stuff. Paste them in books and turn them in for copper pots or something.
S&H green stamps. Mom always made sure the cashier didn't short change her.
i remember one time, when i was just a little bity kid, my mom was checking out at the Piggly Wiggly, and she was writing a check. And as I stood there watching her fill it out I remember wondering what the bank must charge for those check books since they have no idea what people will use them to buy.
Wtf is 'piggly wiggly'?
A fat girl you are fucking and she is really into it.

Good enough to buy gas on the Navy dime. I'm hoping you didn't mean fuel for the actual ships. Man, S&H carried some major weight back in the day.
he means that the guy bought gas for the planes and then collected S&H green stamps for the purchase. Meaning he got lots of stamps. He wasn't trading the stamps for jet fuel.

That's it. Can't remember for the life of me what Mom was attempting to buy with them. Must have been important all the time she spent.
A fucking one way bus ticket is my guess.

Gas... For Navy airplanes. Hundreds of gallons at a time.

It was a grocery store chain. I know of one that is still open up in Denton, TX. We also had an A&P grocery store. I think A&P stood for Atlantic and Pacific.
Wiggly Wiggly was the first self service grocery store franchise. A&P was the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company.

yeah, i think i saw a documentary about that one time. all grocery stores used to gather up your groceries for you. You gave them a list and they went around and got the items. Piggly Wiggly created aisles and let shoppers do it themselves. Which, evidently, was quite the innovation at the time. I think they also invented the shopping cart, if I remember right.

So the Procure officer in charge of Navy fuel was dealing with contraband S&H stamps to fill out his porcelain collection? Should have stuck with heroin. Big bucks I hear.

So who invented the shopping cart with the one front wheel that was always stuck sideways? Always had to walk back for a good one.

Seed dealers used to hand out green stamps back in the day. We would have stacks of filled books after planting season.
