The only thing your system accomplishes is making the rich, richer. But thats true about everything down there. Wars, business, etc.
Keep telling yourself your way is better. I'll stay up here and look in envy.

Be sure to vote GOP straight ticket! Trump will also deliver on that middle class tax cut he promised last year as well!

I make what should be considered good money in this economy. I have some CC debt, a mortgage, tool dealer bills ect. I have ONE drug I take named BRIO that is $360 a month. Thats $12 every morning when I puff it into my lungs. Plus my Coumadin, the Afib meds, the diuretic pills, the Warfarin, the albuterol inhaler, the alprozalam. I am stretched every week to make my bills, and some days I cut pills in half because I cant afford the prescription that week. I've applied for assistance for my Brio, but I make too much money. Nevermind I could choose to lose my house or quit my job and get it. Its the same with hospital bills, if you have nothing, you can get sponsored. If you work and are trying to just get by, you cant get shit. You have to lose your home, job, everything before you can get any help.
And I'm not even going into to $40,000 I owe one hospital, and $19,000 I owe another. I went from a 725 credit rating to a 565 in 6 months. I'm fucked.
I AM the poster child of what universal healthcare would prevent.

Thats a shitty situation, Don. I hope you can figure something out. Without getting into the understandably personal details, how did you get yourself into that bummer situation where you had to make that choice? Paying for a mortgage and insurance is SOP for most of us. The lack of insurance seems to be the obvious root of the problem.DandyDon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 11:06 pmWithout. Literally millions upon millions of Americans pay for a mortgage and insurance every month; myself included and probably most of this board. I did it when I was making $10 per hour. He said himself he makes "good money". I obviously don't know dons situation but it seems to me some choices were made in the past that are now coming home to roost.

Were insurance rates and property values are what they are now when you got 10 an hour?CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:46 pmLiterally millions upon millions of Americans pay for a mortgage and insurance every month; myself included and probably most of this board. I don't know what his property values and or mortgage are and I don't know how much he researched insurance options before deciding against it. I do know that when I was making $10 an hour it was certainly not "good money". I bought a piece of shit house with a mortgage I could afford that included factoring in all my other expenses including insurance. If he can't afford both like millions of people do every month then something is out of whack and adjustments need to be made. It's not like paying for both is unheard of or unusual.CaptQuint wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:50 pmWere insurance rates and property values are what they are now when you got 10 an hour?CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:46 pmLiterally millions upon millions of Americans pay for a mortgage and insurance every month; myself included and probably most of this board. It's not the concept of a conservative democrat that is amusing, it's the notion that you are one. You are a consistent trump ballwasher on everything.

I'm not going to get into it too much, but I went from 2 incomes paying the bills to only mine, and inherited a load of CC debt on cards that were in my name. I was struggling to keep everything paid and barely hanging on (but doing it!) until I became sick. You miss roughly 7 weeks of work and the bills and penalties start adding up to make one hell of a hole to climb out of. No insurance is offered through my job.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:46 pmLiterally millions upon millions of Americans pay for a mortgage and insurance every month; myself included and probably most of this board.
