Toronto wouldn't be a fun matchup for anyone come playoff time.

They sure have caught fire in September. I wouldn't want to go up against them right now.

Being hot at the end of year is the time to go deep into the playoffs. I haven't noticed Toronto before. I'll check them out.

They're a team based out of Canada. I wouldn't expect you to pay any attention to them.

I think you are confusing Major League Baseball with UJR posters. I already do that.

Ohtani will finish with a higher WAR for the 2022 season (9.6) than his MVP season in 2021 (9.0).

A year after he was selected unanimously, he will likely not win MVP in 2022.

Interesting baseball tidbit.

If the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres or NY Mets (eliminated yesterday) win the World Series... Robinson Cano gets a ring.

The only appropriate WS matchup would be Mariners-Padres.

Anyone know when MLB announces their CY Young/ MVP awards? Seems like it's always near the beginning of the playoffs.

Congratulations on being completely wrong.

MLB Regular season awards are not announced until the Post Season has concluded.

Good job, good effort though.

Hey, if you don't know the actual date, you can just make something up. We've all come to expect it of you on everything else.

Yeah I just saw that on Google. If I remember correctly, their awards are for the regular season and don't include the post season. Is that right?

I think I'm just confused about the MLB awards because I've followed the Houston Astros all my life and until the last few years none of it mattered to me.

Sounds like your political views too.

Way to be on brand.

By the way, post season awards usually happen immediately following certain post season series (AL/NL CS, and WS).

Thanks for trying.

I've known enough about MLB awards to know that they aren't announced until after the World Series, so it's not like I pay attention until then.

We all know you're itching to rub one out for Verlander.
