It's draft day, so you have to take everything you hear with a grain of salt...
But I'm seeing rumors that Houston wants to trade up to the #3 spot. They have the trade clout to do it and that would give them the #2 and #3 spots.
Crazy.
QB and DE....the fanbase would be nuts.
Not really. We have watched this clown circus for almost 25 years.
Houston has pick 2 and 12 in the first round and they have the 2nd pick in the 2nd round. They could very very easily trade the 2nd round pick for a later pick in the first round and end up with 3 first round picks.
It never matters with Houston. They can load the roster to the ceiling and then turn around and hire a Bill O'Brian type head coach and blow it all.
The Texans won the AFC South 4 times between 2015 and 2019 under Bill O'Brien.
They've won the AFC South 6 times since 2011.
But, whatever.

assuming Houston didn't give away their #12 and their 2nd round, they will basically have 4 first round picks.
I wouldn't hold your breath on that one.

Huge if true

Wow... Houston gave up a haul for that #3 pick.
#12 in the 1st round
#2 in the 2nd round
1st round pick in 2024
3rd round pick in 2024
About what Carolina did sans DJ Moore to move up from 9 to 1. Have to wait and see if the picks pan out over the next few years. I think it'll probably work out for them as long as the owner lets the adults run the show.
It is absolutely amazing that some people survive walking out of their homes...fo reelz!

I applaud the Texans for showing some balls, but... the Anderson pick was a little weird. Yeah, he's a crazy good talent (who could have easily gone #1 in the draft) but the Texans are already pretty solid at OLB and they weren't really in need at that position.
But, I guess when there's a talent like that sitting on the board... you go get it.
