And we don't wait several weeks for a doctor visit. there are trade offs. but i think you get the point in reducing the unnecessary hoops that must be jumped through for medicine and treatment.

Yeah, my family doctor is terrific at getting people in quickly. But then again, he's a family doctor, not a surgeon.

Ok, I'll concede. How's this: Canada DOES have long waits, postponements and delays.

i recall comments about how USA medical is expensive and doctors are money hungry,but not mentioning most procedures here are done in days or a week or two. All the while proudly says 'our procedures are free',yeah free to wait in pain for weeks and months. Guess it is a choice as long as the pain meds hold out.

I know that I pay for it through my taxes. One of the reasons we are the most over taxed country in the world. I just don't get a bill at the end telling me I need to sign over my house.
