As a lifelong Husky fan, I am not sure how to feel about this.

USC leaving ruined everything, and the Pac-12 was already an after thought before that.

Garbage TV deal, crap bowl games, terrible Sat night game times, bad recruiting constantly...

I think it can only go up, the travel will be an issue and I hope the basketball goes too. We got nothing on the left coast as is.

We are great at softball, golf, rowing...

I can confirm part of this. It's been forever since I've watched a pure Pac 12 game. They start at around 9:30 Saturday night around here. I'm not staying up until 2 to watch that.

SMU also. And what I read is SMU is willing to forgo conference distribution pay for their first several years.

Maybe they're trying to go national like the Big 10?

Yes...I saw that...it would appear that the ACC needs more teams to up the ante for TV rights. Florida State is having temper tantrums about cash and wants to leave.

Quote from USA Today/ "There is a consensus that the two former Pac-12 schools would've remained part of the conference had its commissioner George Kliavkoff been able to land a meaningful media-rights deal. Instead, the proposed subscription-based model with Apple failed to move the needle, with Arizona president Robert C. Robbins likening the agreement to "selling candy bars for Little League or Girl Scout cookies”"

No one East of the Mississippi River and North of the Mason Dixon line gives a shit about College Athletics outside of West Virginia and Central PA.

Oh yes, now I remember, the big dance, March Madness, the final 4.

SD St as a 5 seed beat a 12, a 13, a 6 and a nine. Only to lose to a 4

It was quite a run

I'll go ahead and say it: The Big 10 is too big.

Isn't that the name of the cheerleaders on the sidelines of games?
