I just assumed if you are tracking everything about Jim Jordan, then you must be tracking Matt Gantz. You guys are the only reason that Jim Jordan's name is even a headline right now.
Ask the Ohio State University wrestling team if this is the only reason people know about Gym Jordan. Pierce that bubble.
are any of them still alive? that was 40 years ago and jordan was an assistant coach? I don't know much at all about the story, but I would assume if he was guilty of something he would have faced charges by now. surely.
You didn't spend much time being concerned about the Catholic Church abuses that ran rampant for decades.
How'd that work out?
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

Yeah, a common theme with you is you don't know much about anything but you're gonna choose to not learn about anything so you can keep pushing your narrative.

He's been confused of why he's referred to as "Gym", but being a Texan, they don't question much outside of their ranch.

and the weird thing here is that I am the guy that doesn't want Jim Jordan to be speaker. I am the one that, just today, said I hope he doesn't win. I can't fucking stand Jim Jordan.
and the Democrats are the ones that voted with Matt Gantz so that Jim Jordan could be nominated. Holy shit.

(I'm going to sound like Cheezy here, but it's far, far simpler to answer)
How was McCarthy put into the position of being removed by ANY single member of Congress?
Also, if you have such a hard on for this being the "DEMOCRATS FAULT!?!?", why wouldn't the Dems have brought this to the floor prior?
I bet you think it's the cops' fault when you get pulled over for speeding too.
Or your teachers fault for bad grades.

I get you don't want to be associated with him, regardless of how little you seem to know about him (by design). All I did was point out one of the many reasons for his infamy being counter to what you want the reasons to be portraying his infamy. In other words, just because you know he's a douche is not the only reason the public knows he's a douche.

McCarthy agreed to the "one person rule" because Matt Gantz demanded it along with his handful of MAGA members. It was what it took for McCarthy to get that slim to none margin that is required in this House the way it is divided right now. He agreed to it because he knew that it would take a roomful of idiots to help Matt actually pull it off (which is what happened when 100% of the democrats went along with him). Matt held that rule over McCarthy's head like the sword of Damacles ever since that day and McCarthy finally got fed up with it. Which he explained in that youtube video that I posted. McCarthy finally said, "Fine, Matt. Get your fucking vote over with".
I honestly think McCarthy felt as if a few democrats would cross over and bail him out. For no other reason than the alternative would be much much worse. They didn't. And we will now see if the alternative works out better for them. I think that it won't.
But I also am holding out hope that McCarthy will get talked back into putting his name out there and running again.

Here's the problem.
The MAGA caucus DOESN'T WANT A FUNCTIONING GOVERNMENT.
They want to end this whole process. Go back to Jan. 6th, where the charges have NOT been insurrection, but attempting to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. That was the goal. To stop the certification and prevent Biden from replacing Trump.
That was the whole ideology of the 2nd impeachment.
Jordan was on board with it. Gaetz was on board with it. Their whole mission is to see it burn to the ground.
This isn't a problem for the MAGA caucus, this is their plan.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

but there aren't very many of them. they would need someone to empower them. someone like 100% of the democratic caucus in the House.

100% of your party voted with them. 96% of Republicans did not.
You can try to spin it all you want but that is undeniably factual.

What's factual is your ineffective tool of a Speaker of the House tried to throw the Democrats under the bus for what his party created. After he'd already gone back on his deal over the budget and then those same Democrats had saved the government from shutting down temporarily, he chose to blame them for what his party did. Spin that all you want but that is someone who stabs people in the back and then wonders why those same people won't lift a finger to save him.

For a single vote, where McCarthy handed Gaetz the noose.
You really think Republicans have zero responsibility over their Majority of Congress?
Blaming Democrats just shows your partisan hackery. Keep sucking on that Fox News/Truth Social/Steve Bannon flavored shitstain!

i am curious about something. you just keep on mentioning this "rule" about one member being able to bring a vote to oust a speaker. you realize that's the way the rules were in the house forever, right? Pelosi was the speaker to change that rule.
so if you think that McCarthy caved to some ridiculous new rule change that only his stupid ass would ever agree to, then you couldn't be more wrong.

The rule was amended so rather than it be a committee vote to bring to floor, it could be brought to the floor by a single member.
McCarthy allowed it to get the gavel.
Thank you for playing.

it was changed back to the way it was before Pelosi. Pelosi changed it because of that block of trouble makers she had that kept her from winning the speaker job on the first ballot. She changed the threshhold from 1 person to a majority in exchange for agreeing that she would step down from the speaker job after 4 years. she negotiated away her length of service in order to appease her "maga-ish" traitors.
