Trump has raised the bar on ridiculous. How did he talk a bunch of grown up people to stand on stage to promote that?

I think that the biggest study should be to determine why there were only 1 in 10,000 children with autism 20 years ago and now there are 1 in 20 (or whatever it is). And what I would be most interested in is explaining to people that the number hasn't suddenly jumped because people are suddenly catching autism much much faster. The number has mostly jumped because people know what to look for and what to call it now.

Until you can explain that glitch in the date first and foremost, you are never going to make arm chair surgeon generals understand the starting point.

that would make more sense if the "pregnant libs on Tik Tok" label was replaced with "anti vaxxer nutters".

Remember when years ago Tylenol actually addressed this?

Well, first and foremost: "Mount Sinai Study Supports Evidence That Prenatal Acetaminophen Use May Be Linked to Increased Risk of Autism and ADHD"

BUT --> Fun Fact: This isn't a new revelation.

In 2021 there was a study published in the European Journal of Epidemiology that, using an analysis of 73,881 mother-child pairs in Europe, found "[c]hildren who were prenatally exposed to paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, were found to be 19% more likely to have developed Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and 21% more likely to have developed ADHD than children who were not exposed." Source of quote

Acetaminophen goes from safe to lethal in a much smaller dose than most realize.
