I saw a documentary the other day on how they are able to change dna in field mice that carry the virus that ticks get and spread that causes lyme disease. they can inject the mice somehow, change their DNA, and then they no longer can get the virus and their offspring will never be able to get it either. It forever changes the mice so that they no longer can get lyme disease and therefore no longer pass it on to ticks.

I would imagine that this technology will be able to be used in this as well, if they do it.

This flu changes frequently, there are many different variations, just like with the fly that we get every year. The scale would be damn near impossible as well since so many animals carry it without being sickened.

It's extremely widespread, with the migrations coming down from Canada, the birds are bringing it with them, then as I said, there are rodents and small mammals that are vectors that are not effected.

Any of the waterfowl. With the cooler weather up there they started coming down a bit early. The company vet mentioned some major die offs up there whatever area is north of Montana. They are also checking on n predators in the area and 60% of bald eagles are showing antibodies. This is actually good for them because they were originally just keeling over.
