i was trying to change an email address for an account at Best Buy the other day. The steps they have would not work. So I finally found a way to get a chat going with customer support and the chat person/bot was asking me questions about what I was trying to do exactly. Then it posted, "So they are trying to change their password and they cannot find the screen to provide that information?"

I had to sit there a minute to figure out what in the fuck it was asking me. it was like i had switched channels and got a conversation that had nothing to do with me and my question.

Think the chat bot got all fucked up or was it just not understanding what you wanted?

i think the chat bot was programmed to use generic pronouns.
