holy shit! red diesel up to $3.71/gal last night. This is insane.
$4.55/gal here in central Washington.
well, red diesel is without highway tax, so normal diesel at the pump would be about 45 cents higher. So normal diesel would be $4.16 or so
Yeah, I actually know the difference between the two types as we use both of them at the utility i work with. That $4.55 really is for the red.
damn. i had no idea fuel changed that much across the states.
The fuel tax in Washington is super crazy, and our roads.still suck ass.
i know how much the fines are down here for putting offroad fuel into onroad equipment and it appears our road taxes are only half as much. they probably have a death sentence up there for it.

Don't worry, they will be released no later than October...

And I suspect is going to be one hell of a Surprise!

They didn't. That's just how the media spun it.

Chump knocked down a big chunk of the Whitehouse to build himself a ballroom. He has taken you into a war Congress has not declared and is too cowed to even admit exists. You have a king, and not a good one

We have a king with no actual power, kind of like your Congress. It's a compromise that keeps tradition but doesn't let the chinless wonder actually do anything.

What's going on America right now is far more dangerous because what stopped presidents acting like kings has just completely broken down. Congress is kneeling at the feet of king chump right now, you know this is true and you don't support his war. Why can't you say so?

Your country jails people for social media posts. They eliminated jury trials for most crimes. And your leaders insist on providing generous benefits for invaders that hate Western values.

I think we'll be just fine. You guys? I'm not so sure

There is a proposal to reduce the number of jury trials which has so far not gone anywhere. The reason is that cases are currently being listed for 2029 due to the backlog. I'd say that, coupled with the fact most people who actually sit on juries are morons, because most people are morons, make it a pretty sensible proposal. Your belief that it has already happened though indicates your are not particularly well informed about the UK.

No, the BBC reports that this is what Lammy wants to do. In order to actually do it he needs to pass an act of parliament, get it approved in the house of lords and then get it signed by the king, none of those things have happened or are remotely likely to happen. My country is still functioning, we haven't seen a complete constitutional collapse. That would be your country.
