If Russia was smart. They would abandon their Ukraine project and go full board assisting Iran.

The aircraft in Kuwait was due to friendly fire. You knew that, right?AnalHamster wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2026 5:47 pm3 that we know of, 3 more in Kuwait, plus the crashed kc10. Two transports blowed on the rescue, and damaged that the US has admitted to is a couple of helicopters and an f35. Do you think you're being accurately informed about war losses with what has been admitted to?
What do you think a win looks like for America anyway? Leaving Iran in control of the strait with the uranium and regime left in place? Or are you waiting for the latest trump briefing on what the goals are now?
Money well spent? https://iran-cost-ticker.com/
A Warthog was downed with the pilot ejecting safely. Reports suggest the transports you mention were destroyed to prevent capture.
Sources conclude 7 manned aircraft lost (dozens damaged of varying degrees) with 3 of those due to Kuwaiti friendly fire; not Iranian defenses. Considering @18k flown missions (US/Israeli) that is an incredible success rate.
Yes, I believe I am accurately informed.

I am suspecting that Trump is going overboard with the talk about blowing up every bridge and power plant as a distraction to do some damage to Kharg island and the Strait. He wants Iran to spread out there defenses so that he can concentrate on those two spots, He's probably thinking if it worked for getting out the pilot then it will work for this. But i think this will be a one and done last attempt before calling an end to it.

You will if he runs. Just like the military will follow his illegal order to bomb the civilian infrastructure if he gives it. Whole war is illegal to start with, that's why you have to pretend it's not a war.

In what has to be a surprise to no-one, trump chickened out.
Looks like Iran told him to go fuck himself and stopped even indirect negotiations after his latest desperate deranged tweets, so it's now just full taco and Iran's ten point plan had gone from 'not good enough' to 'workable'.

Stopped negotiations you say?
US, Iran say they have agreed to a two-week ceasefire
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council says it has accepted a two-week ceasefire in the war. Its statement said it would negotiate with the United States in Islamabad beginning Friday.

Yes, timeline appears to be they offer 10 point plan trump rejects, then trump sends deranged surrender or die tweets and they call his bluff, then trump tacos again and offers a ceasefire through Pakistan based around the same 10 point plan. Now you just have to negotiate how high they can set the tolls on their new territory.Cassandros wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 12:51 am Stopped negotiations you say?

This shit has got so ridiculous and predictable to anyone except Trump's die hard base and Zionists.
Trump is looking for soundbites and ratings to justify his moves. I am imagining the Iranians know this.

We are back to where we were 7 weeks ago, before we attacked Iran in the first place. Negotiating w/ the Iranians. Only they have the Strait as a card that they weren't playing before.
Of course Trump is calling this a victory.
That's not conjecture. It's a fact.

Iran has no Navy. Iran has no Air Force. Iran's ballistic capabilities are massively deteriorated. The former top leadership are all dead. The IRGC is in hiding with top leadership dead or scared they'll be next. The bordering countries are upset that Iran attacked them. The majority of the Middle East is united against them. Of course they will "escort" ships through the strait. That makes sense because they know where the mines are and it enables them to save a little bit of face.
Negotiations will resume and we will see. Hopefully it's not the typical "ceasefire" where the party getting it's ass kicked (Iran) simply uses the time to regroup.

Re: Regretting chump yet?
The Iran proposal chump rejected that chump now thinks is a 'workable' basis for negotiations, after previously rejecting it then chickening out -
Removal of all sanctions
Removal of all US forces from the middle east
Iranian control of the straits
End to attacks on Iran and its allies
Release of frozen assets
UN resolution ratifying all that.
In the farsi version they added recognition of enrichment, missing from English version. Possibly indicating the point they'll move on.

Surely even the chump fans can't really think this has gone well for y'all.

Re: Regretting chump yet?
We destroyed their outdated Navy and Air Force that we supplied them w/ in the 60s and 70s. I don't think they were ever a threat to be a major player in a war w/ the US. Obviously Iran proved that it would take a long ground troop war or actual war crimes to actually have a chance to "defeat" the country. While the world economy suffered during the fight.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 12:29 pmExcept it is much different now.Burn1dwn wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 5:00 amA ceasefire is great news.Cassandros wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 3:11 amIt always amuses me how you present conjecture as fact...AnalHamster wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 1:04 amYes, timeline appears to be they offer 10 point plan trump rejects, then trump sends deranged surrender or die tweets and they call his bluff, then trump tacos again and offers a ceasefire through Pakistan based around the same 10 point plan. Iran was willing to give over their stock pile of 60% enriched uranium before the attacks, the debate was if there would be a 5 year (Iran''s position) or 10 year (US's) pause in enrichment. Sounds like we are back to that point.
Iran now can claim at least partial ownership of the Strait (along with Oman) and showed they don't need a navy or air force to shut it down or inflict damage to it's neighbors. They obviously still had missiles because they were hitting Israel up until the ceasefire.
Iran is starting this new round of negotiations w/ a new trump card, the control they proved they have of the Strait and effect it has on the world economy. That was not even being discussed before the war and was the main point of Trump trying to find a quick exit.
At best, the war seems like a tie for US and Iran. Hence the ceasefire.
Obviously, Israel got a win out of it. They now get to continue their Lebanese incursion knowing Iran will be on the sidelines.
