Last year because of scheduling issues we had 1 week where the whole family was available for a cruise. The only cruise that fit our schedule needs happened to be a Carnival Cruise. Let's just say the cultural enrichment was at a very high level. I don't think we will be cruising Carnival again.

Agreed. I also won't get on a plane. I'm not scared of flying, I'm just an extreme introvert with hyper vigilance so if you put me in a pressurized tube at 30,000ft with a couple hundred people that I don't know, there's gonna be an incident.

Oh you silly people and your poor immune systems. Cruises are great! Well, except for the last Carnival one but even that was mostly tolerable.
We book a suite with a balcony, avoid the main buffet at peak hours, avoid the casino, eat at the nicer restaurants, and do excursions off of the ship. Hand sanitizer is a must.

hmm just as I presumed, I don't give a rats ass what the fuck Hollywood does. Like, the whole scene could burn in a fiery, melting plastic dicks and vaginas everywhere fucking disaster and I wouldn't even look up from my fucking coffee. After what I went through 45 days ago a lot of shit gets put into perspective.

wasn't there a cruise and everyone got norovirus? I had that a while back, i believe from fresh guacamole made in mexico and when I researched it stated fresh products from mexico are the number one culprit. I was fortunate 3 days of only watery hershey squirts and unbelievable amount of gas production. as in sit down on the toilet and gas might come out for a minute straight, sort of like andre the giant "cutting the cheese". Fortunately i had no vomiting, but there was no holding it so basicly about every 15 minutes , 24 hours a day, run to the bathroom for 3 days. Now if you're on a cruise and you have a partner with you and only one bathroom.... i think you can get the idea. Now multiply that by 5000 couples and hopefully you understand what a shitty situation that would be (literally shitty!)

back at the old watering hole one winter the owner made a deal with a local guy that did snowplowing and the guy was a really bad alcoholic. the deal was the guy could drink for free in exchange for plowing the parking lot which was quite small and the guy would pass out and occasionally wake up to drink his beer, then when it was empty bartender would go over and wake him up and ask if he wanted another beer, which he always would. That only lasted a few weeks because we didn't get much snow and the guy drank budweiser in bottles , so the bar was not getting a very good deal
