Defense rested today after disastrous direct examinations of their witnesses. Attorneys basically now blaming Metcalf with impaling himself on Melo's knife. Cant make this shit up
Bigger question: Will they be chimping out after the guilty verdict is read?

He gets to live longer than the kid he killed. Did he not understand how stabbing someone works?
If life were fair every guy's dick would be the same size.

I hear ya', and I keep going back and forth with this one. At 17yo, a boys brain is not yet fully developed. That should get some consideration. On the flip side, the jury did only give him 33% of the max sentence (of which he only needs to serve half to be eligible for parole) so you can make an argument that he got off light
I dunno, no winners in this one

He got off light. He showed up with a knife at a track meet. I'm pretty sure the kid he stabbed, whose brain is just as developed, didn't bring a knife that night. He went looking for trouble and he found it. He wanted to act like a bad ass, brandishing a knife, and now he has to suffer the repercussions. It's good to see these animals and their shitty culture actually see consequences for their behavior once in a while.Biker wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2026 1:27 pmI hear ya', and I keep going back and forth with this one. The fatigue is real.
