Ford Vs Ferrari

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.
It can get NSFW-ish here: you have been warned!

Saw it yesterday.

Lots of racing obviously, but enough character development and plot/story that non-gearheads should also like it.

For the racing scenes, I'd recommend seeing it with a good sound system. I saw it in a Dolby theater.

Well, a person could argue that movie reviews *are* opinion pieces. But in this case, it was a poor one in either sense. Even as possibly the most socially liberal on this board, the writer was making an article about something that the movie just simply isn't and couldn't be. I really get tired of seeing real history being rewritten. Real history is pretty drastic and uncomfortable, but trying to whitewash it is ultimately telling a big lie. That's not what real history should never be about.
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.
