It's funny you mention that. Santa left us an extra gift on Xmas eve. At our adjacent other property (The Back 40), we found a tiny 7 week old kitten on the front porch. We have some older feral cats we feed there, and this one suddenly came out of nowhere and jumped into the food tray. She's a beautiful tortoise-shell kitten, but woefully small and slightly underdeveloped. But she is just the most amazing snuggle-bug, a real purr machine. We have no idea where she came from, and could find no evidence of the mother or other kittens. She's sleeping on my shoulder as I write this.

But when we took her to the vet, he told us she has a serious case of intestinal worms. All feral kittens do, it's not a surprise, but he said her rectal swab was disheartening under the scope, and we'll have a real mess on our hands for a week or two until the worms all die. Until then, she'll have a foul and leaky anus, and we need to be extra careful with her litter box and cleanliness. And the vet is exactly spot-on with that.

So..., you may be right.

my favorite for sure. i remember an episode when she was driving up in the Andes mountains across some huge salt flat. she was training some other guy to drive. anyway, the truck over heated and they finally found some water and she was up on the truck bent over working on a water line (or something) and she turns to the guy and says "don't be checking out my ass". Which everyone watching the show at that moment was doing because that's right where the camera was pointed.
