Nothing is allowed.
The legality of fireworks varies here. The unwritten law is that this is a written law that is widely ignored. You cannot buy them in Nashville/Davidson County but every county adjoining Davidson sells them. I used to love shooting them but I am past that now.
I still spend a stupid amount on fireworks but now I have teenage kids to shoot them off for me.

This is one thing that I don’t get about you throwing out the noob label. Pretty much everyone on here was at the old UJ a hell of a lot longer than you.
I never said any differently. If you can't see the "3 children" I have to deal with daily, then the problem I'm sorry to say is with you. It's no big deal. Like any children, they get all stirred up, running around making noise until they run out of steam. Then they crash and adults can start talking again. I call CQ out, because the whole thing is way beneath him. He doesn't seem to be listening. So, then the whole shit starts again tomorrow. You know, children.
If you want to know where the problem is, take a look in the mirror.

I’ll be at my girlfriends house. Cops are very liberal and quite scattered. So maybe I will launch some bottle rockets. Makes me a rebel, doesn’t it?

We've got about 30 adults and 15 kids coming over tomorrow. I smoked 2 pork butts and we just dropped $400 on fireworks.

How close to the trees is that bonfire? That would be trouble in my neck of the woods. Must be nice to get water in your forests.

Very close, the bark on one tree caught fire and I soaked it down with a indian can. We've had a couple inches of rain the last two days so I wasn't too concerned. But I have once caught a hemlock on fire about 50 feet up about 7 years ago.

Did it burn itself out or did you have to go MacGyver on it?

You couldn't start that fire in the middle of that clearing near me. We have had a couple inches of rain in the last few years.

The photo from distance is cool.

It burned itself out and a few years later the whole tree came down during Hurricane Sandy and it too went in the bonfire. We do this twice a year and the clearing gets a little bigger every year. I remember 23 years ago this was all forest.

Thanks for the info. I just threw out 2 hour show guessing. It would seem if you had a half-million people attending, with all the travel, parking hassles etc you would stretch it out a lot longer than 18 minutes.

I can't decide if that's drunken slurring or if he's missing a few of his front teeth. Or both.
