Crematoriums have had issues with morbidly obese people causing what is essentially a grease fire in the ovens. They've said it's become so widespread, they are working on redesigning the ovens to accommodate the larger, heavier bodies, as well as the combustion process to help reduce the flare ups. I'm thinking a drip-tray is among those modifications.
