You are saying Steven A is a fraud? I can agree with that if so, but he is dating that Molly smoke show that works for him, so he gets some props there.

Stephen A is one of the top three out there, so no. I used to listen to Nick Wright on Mad Dog Sports Radio and you can always predict how he will come down on one side of the issue. Its always race with him

I see Steven A as more of an entertainer, while I see Nick as a studied, grindstone sports junkie. I think many of Nick's "takes" are predictable and based on rooting bias, but he seems to spout stats off the top of his head that sometimes blows me away. Clearly he does a ton of prep and is seemingly a hard worker.

His affinity to Colin C drives me crazy as does Steven A's loyalty to Skip B.

My go to listen is always Dan Patrick. I listen to Nick and Dan every week day during football season. I am not a big basketball guy, mostly since we lost the Supersonics.

What do you think about this new Pat McAfee hullabaloo?

Dan Patrick is solid, and I cant stand Cowherd. Chris Russo is my listen 2p-5p as well as some Stephen A and Adam Schein

McAfee is simply not ESPN material, and he knows that. Instead, he opted for the paycheck to the detriment of his show. I cant imagine he will last very long there and will be back doing his own thing soon

I had never heard of Mad Dog Russo until SA brought him in, and your are spot on, he is amazing. I love his energy and his takes. Old school no bullshit, just calls them like he sees them. And he is the true encyclopedia brain.

I am not a radio guy and have lived in rural East WA my whole life so I am sure Mad Dog is not the only great sports guy I had missed over the years.

Given the people Disney dumped and then brought in Pat, you are correct there as well. He is a bad fit and will not last long. He cracks me up, and that's about it.

The wound that never heals.......and I'm not even from WA. Hopefully the NBA pulls their head out of their ass and brings em back next time they add teams.
