St Patrick’s Day?
Big event in your area?
Downtown New Port Richey is all abuzz this weekend.
This is one of the two times a year I prepare a corned beef brisket

I live in a University town, so yeah, St. Paddy's Day is a kind of a big deal around here.

Not as big as it used to be but still a good day for many bars in the metro area. I'm sure they look forward to it.

Re: St Patrick’s Day?
they had one here but usually parades around here have a "grand marshall" but on the news they said this years parade didn't have a grand marshall but employees from the station were in the parade. I thought it was strange they didn't have a grand marshall, but I don't know much about parades.

Since the celebration does go back to a time when such revelers would wear tall white pointy hats, y'all'll fit right in.
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

Yea, "those" Democrats were a pretty nasty bunch, and now they're an even nastier bunch since they turned into the modern Republicans.Biker wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 3:00 pmThose Democrats were a nasty bunch, eh?QillerDaemon wrote: ↑Sun Mar 16, 2025 4:43 pmSince the celebration does go back to a time when such revelers would wear tall white pointy hats, y'all'll fit right in.

Everyone knows that there are no racist Republicans in America, especially in the southern states.

Having the little leprechaun McGregor visit the white house on St. Patty's day (a couple months after losing a sexual assault case) might be the most "on brand" idea Trump ever had.

Well, I’m not a “pure” racist. I’ve determined that I am a “situational“ racist. Example: 1. Race should not be a factor for the ability to do a job. 2. I never considered dating outside my race..Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 9:25 pm Everyone knows that there are no racist Republicans in America, especially in the southern states.

The days that followed saw some surprising erasures from DoD websites, including Medal of Honor recipients Pfc. Harold Gonsalves and Maj. Gen. Charles C. Rogers. For a time, the Army website honoring the famed all-Japanese 442nd Regimental Combat Team from World War II, the service's most decorated unit, was also scrubbed (it has since been restored following a public outcry).

This won't compute with the single digit IQs.
