Good lord you people should do some reading once in awhile.necronomous wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 1:40 amIt's good thing I'm not a republican. That makes the rest of your argument invalid. You really are one of the dumbest republicans on here....and that is saying quite a bit.
What party right now has over 253 bills in 43 states that would restrict voting? All under the camouflage of the big lie of voter fraud they keep pushing. They can't win the popular vote so they are going to suppress the fuck out of black and poor areas from voting.
Only if you're republican
Hopefully it dies in the Senate.
But realistically the tactics it opens up will be used against the blues in the next election(s) instead. Tearing down voting integrity just to fuck over the "other team" with no forethought on how new laws might affect you when said other team is in power ---> that's the American way!
The For the People Act[1] (also known as H.R. 1) is a bill in the United States Congress to expand voting rights, change campaign finance laws to reduce the influence of money in politics, limit partisan gerrymandering, and create new ethics rules for federal officeholder
Definitely scary stuff for Republicans.
