I also like Stallone/Arnold-type movies, sarcasm and Titos vodka lately. Car shows and Survivor-type shows on TV, too.

Small business owner. I hate politics, hate big government even more. I'll pay my taxes with a smile, but want to curb stomp entitled people that take advantage of the system for free shit. I have some of them in my family and have no respect for them. Makes for frustrating Holidays dinners.

The kids are both very smart, and genuinely good kids, but have zero street smarts. Real dad is a very nice guy, but a pussy. Mom is one of the nicest people I have ever met, but a hover mom. Not sure how the kids will toughen up. I guess a lot of us made it OK, and so will they.

I like going to the gym. I donate money and time to the community. I am excellent at procrastination, and should be working as I write this. I try to be honest and fair, but I have little patience for stupid people. I come to UJ to let loose, say stupid shit, and look at harmless nekkid pics. Me: later 50’s, passes so fast! Oldest kids out of school and on their own, both professionals. Youngest is in college but still at home. He has some very minor developmental problems, but he is becoming more human every day. Smart, too. Still, you worry.

Living in SATx
Turn 50 in about 3 weeks.
Married for 22 of those.
My daughter is almost 11 and is the best thing that ever happened.
She ended up with my sense of humor and sarcasm.
Doing my best to make the next generation better than the last.

I'll be 53 in March, sold my horses, 50 acres and shity house in August I bought a much nicer house on 7 Acres and moved my girlfriend in with me, plus it's on a paved road so I can keep my motorcycles at home instead of in a friend's garage in town.
My boys will turn 11 and 14 this spring and I'm still driving truck locally.

Doing my best to make the next generation better than the last.

My generation's parents was too lessez faire. Some of them, anyway. Parenting is much more than that. Growing up in America is a minefield of opportunities to get on the wrong track. Very proud of our kids, and the credit goes largely to my wife.
Some of my old friends are raising their grandkids - 2nd gen drug involvement. Only now it's heroin instead of meth.

I'll be 58 yo later this year, and my beautiful son will be 25 in a couple weeks. Still live west of Orlando in a little old ramshackle house in a little old ramshackle neighborhood. I'll probably die here, and if my wife has anything to do with it that may be in the next ten years or so. Then she'll be free to scatter my ashes around my beloved kumquat bushes. Which, along with my beloved banana trees, pineapple plants, and four cats, I love more than I love her. And she's cool with that. We have a good understanding. I've just put 26 years with a large company where I work as a network administrator, caring for a rancid mess of routers and switches and tangled patch cables. If not the wife, it'll be the job that winds up killing me. I'm OK with that.

For no good reason at all, I spend time playing the mandolin, learning to read Japanese, and will sit in a few weeks for my Extra class ham radio ticket.

Ev, I've got a question for you regarding this and give us the truth please. Yes, I want you to speak for all women: So my niece brings home her first serious boyfriend over the Holidays to meet the family. Seems like a good guy. Seems to like her and looks like he treats her well. Mrs. CHEEZY and all of the other women were all giddy that he seems really NICE. Which is fine I guess up to a point. I then chipped in my two cents saying basically that I hope hes not TOO NICE and lets her walk all over him. I firmly believe that women subconsciously desire a man that will stand up for himself and not be pushed around by his woman or they will slowly lose respect for him.
