As a Jet fan, I am not happy about this. The Jets offensive line stinks. Rodgers just may get killed. At least Zach can scramble in the backfield. The Jets will com in last place this year. I wish I could quit them.
Eh, I'm guessing that the Jets figured they'll pretty much get the same value at 15 as they would have at 13. And they kept one of their #2's.
If Rodgers is as advertised and they can keep him standing, next year's #1 is likely to be way down the list.
It's supposedly a pretty crappy draft, next year is expected to be better.
Rodgers is a damn good QB, but can he improve the Jets by 5 or 6 wins over last year... I doubt it.
With that O line he could find himself with a career ending injury.
If he has anything at all left in his tank you will be pleasantly surprised at his ability to keep a play alive when he should be sacked for a loss. Fuck I hate that guy.

its just a reminder that not all decisions are about winning football games.
You think the NY Jets gave up...
2 spots in the 1st round of this week's draft
A 2nd round pick in this week's draft
A 6th round pick in this week's draft
A 2024 draft pick that will probably be a 1st round
And they'll pay Rodgers $59.5 million bucks this year
So they can sell some jerseys?
If that statement above holds true, then that means Rodgers met their performance requirements and then it would not be only for the merchandising and ticket sales. I think they have high hopes to get 1 or 2 years of stellar performance out of him, but I also think that they feel as though the downside is still not bad in terms of tickets and merchandise. I am sure that they have hopes of repeating what Tampa Bay did with Brady.

Unless they raise prices, ticket sales will have very little to do with it. The Jets have no problem filling the seats even without Rodgers.

October 27, 2022: The last time the Jets had a home sellout was Oct. 13, 2019 when they beat the Cowboys.

The Jets were #2 in the league last year in avg home attendance and #2 in avg overall attendance.

This is kind of hard to believe, but now that Aaron Rogers has moved on, that makes Dak Prescott the longest starting quarterback on a team.
Speaking of overrated.

Other than Jerry Jones, who rates Dak as a top tier QB?
