The best way to make that happen is to have a quality QB who they don't have to pay a lot of money to, freeing up cap space for other positional players. I don't know Dak's salary, but I'm guessing $40M plus per year. That would hamstring the Raiders ability to shore up other positions.

its hard to even imagine. i'm sick to death of hearing the excuses about stats and numbers. meanwhile the team finishes in the bottom. I don't know how many years I had to listen to the excuses for Romo and how great his stats were, blah blah bah. Now the same thing with Dak. The only stat that should matter is play off wins/percentage.

From my perspective, Jerry is a little like Al Davis in his last years, but with more money. The game continues to evolve. He needs to step aside and let someone(s) else be in charge of player personnel.
